Today I Crash

February 8, 2010

After too much time not laying quietly, I will spend the week crashing.

No guests, no phones, no doing anything I shouldn’t be doing.

I am going inward to let my body heal.

Will be back when my body says I can.

So glad that you’re back typing. Good thing you’ve got a couple snow days to take it easy. Sit and watch the snow fall with some animal friends to keep you company. Continued good thoughts coming your way!

Good. Take care of yourself, Kathy, and stay on top of the pain. I’m still thinking about you and sending good thoughts your way.

Take care of yourself. Take advantage of the laying around, rest up and get well.

….So freak out if you wanna
    And I’ll still be here
Don’t call me for years and when you do
    Yeah, I’ll still be here

    I Love Ben Folds.
We’ll be here when you’re ready.

Hang in there! And rest up, listen to your body, especially if it asks for cake. We love you!

The body has been through a lot, so take all the crash time you need! Oh and word of warning, my surgery was much less of a big deal than yours and I kept needing crash time for nearly 3 weeks so don’t plan too much for the next month or so! Rest up well! Lots of healing thoughts coming your direction along with some NZ sunbeams. Bels

Good idea to step into a restfull place. Your body has been through a lot and the rest of you has been through a shock. There is more to come so you just take the time to hear what your body, mind, and heart need as you travel this strange road. We will be here no matter what.

Sounds like a good idea. Do whatever you need to do.

I wondered when you’d start listening to your body. I, too, went thru a much-less surgery in Sept. and babied myself for nearly a month. (Well, really babied for about 2 weeks and then got a little stir-crazy) Maybe you just needed the hospital drugs to wear off and realize you need nap time and slow time and Kathy time more than you thought. Whatever the need, take as much as you can. We mothers don’t get this opportunity very often…..take advantage of it. It’s YOUR time now. Good healing thoughts still being sent your way.

Rest well. Regain your strength. We are here.

Nothing better than a long nap on a cold day …except a long nap on a rainy day. Rest and rejuvenate.
